Maths

In our school, we follow the Mathematics Mastery programme which supports our vision perfectly.

Aims of Maths Mastery:
  • To provide children with a strong foundation of the basics.
  • To ensure all children develop a strong sense of number.
  • To create confident, eloquent mathematicians.
  • To allow children to become confident in strategies and methods in order to generalise to different problems.
  • To teach children in how to select and use resources to support their working.
  • To provide differentiation within class with all the children moving broadly at the same pace.
