CHURCH
As a Church of England School, strong Christian values are at the heart of our work. Children are taught about the Christian faith and other religions in a sensitive way. We have a daily act of Collective Worship worship.
As a Church of England School, links with the community are extremely important to us. Each fortnight, our Junior Leadership visit the Parish Church, St. Mary's, and meet with the village parishioners.
Our school choir also visit the United Reformed Church at Christmas time to sing Christmas Carols to the Old Age Pensioners in the village. Our school choir will also sing at St. Mary's Church Christmas and Spring Fayres too.
Families are invited to take part in Christian festivals such as Christmas and Easter.
We use St Mary's Church to celebrate important times of year e.g. Harvest, Christmas Carol Service and our End of Year Service. These events are very well attended by parents, families and local residents.
