OverviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated teaching assistant to join our friendly Marsh Gibbon team to support our KS1 children in succeeding together.
This is a term time only role, working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm or Monday - Friday 8.30am - 1pm will also be considered. Please specify on your application

Salary Type: Bucks pay
Salary details: Bucks Pay range 2: £24,879 - £26,961 pro rata
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full time or Part time (Mornings) considered

About the roleThe teaching assistant role will include lunchtime supervision.
General Responsibilities:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils (whole class, small groups or individually) under the direction and guidance of the Class Teacher.
Support pupils with their reading.
Assist in the implementation of SEN support plans for pupils and help monitor their progress.
Provide support for individual pupils inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary.
Assist class teachers with maintaining pupil records.
Support pupils with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
Help to keep pupils safe by knowing and using the child protection policy and procedures.
Including responding to accidents, emergencies, illness and enforcing safe use of the internet.
