Marsh Gibbon Silver Band

Established 155 years ago, we are registered in the 4th section but currently not competing (although occasional entertainment contests are not totally out of the question). Once the horrible virus is behind us and rehearsals resume, we'll be looking for several new players to take us into a new era. We will need front and back row cornets, horns, basses and a baritone.

The band have a pretty healthy engagements calendar, with events of various types occurring throughout the year. These include fetes, marches, Christmas shows and concerts around the community.

We are a friendly bunch that enjoy making music - rehearsing every Thursday night from 7:30pm 'til 9:30pm at the United Reformed Church at Marsh Gibbon.
