Welcome
I feel extremely honoured and privileged to lead this wonderful school where our purpose is to enable everyone to be the best they can possibly be. My desire is to build strong relationships with the children, staff, parents/carers, parish priests and governors and to do what is needed to take the school forward in this new era of education.
As Headteacher, I do of course strive for academic excellence, but I firmly believe that school should be more than that. It should be about discovery and opportunity, about respect, reliability and resilience. My aim is to help your children build upon the wealth and variety of experience they bring to school by providing a rich, stimulating, constructive and fun environment where they are actively engaged in their learning and valued as individuals. This in turn, will guarantee they leave Marsh Gibbon CE School at the end of Year 6 feeling extremely confident, responsible and empowered members of society, ready for their secondary school journey.
I believe the school should be a happy, caring, spiritual, respectful and hardworking environment in which all staff utilise their skills to enable the children in their care to recognise their true potential and talents. As a church school, we will endeavour to celebrate the successes of our children in all areas of school life. We can do this by showing that we believe in them, respect them and are proud of them.
I passionately believe in working in partnership with you to provide the best education we can. As key educators in your children’s lives, I feel it is important that you feel you have a voice and that as a school we are approachable and allocate time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts about the school.
You can be assured that as Headteacher, I will strive to create the best education for your child, whilst they are members of our school family.
I look forward to watching your children grow in confidence, knowledge and spirituality during their time at Marsh Gibbon CE Primary School and will thank you in advance for the support I know you will give all members of our school community.
Our website serves as a brief introduction to our school. If you would like further information, or to arrange a visit, please feel free to contact me at any time.
